The Simpson Trio is a soul-blues band, which one could say that swings. Blues is the basis of everything what The Simpson Trio play. Its founder Ryan Simpson comes from Memphis, where he grew up and was influenced by different types of music from blues to rock-a-billy, Memphis soul and jazz.
